Advent Shadows for the Smash Contest

Hello Shadow Hunters,

With the Christmas time well and truly upon us and approaching the 3rd advent already, we have started to decorate our house with decorations. This includes a various array of lights for some nice effects and to brighten up the dark evenings.

This is when I noticed that the advent calendar with the various shapes had created such a pattern of different shadows.

I think this was a nice effect on the wall with the shadows.

They are special shadows created by an advent calendar. The first photo is my entry into the smash round 248 competition. To further improve the decorations, my wife created a nice decoration and put it into a nice frame to go in the middle as the kids open the advent surprises.

Here she was creating some colorful ball balls and improvising for the circles!

Here under normal lighting conditions is the finished piece. I then turned the lights off to show what it looks like now.

What I really like is actually the shelf and how straight I managed to put it up. I should have made a post for the DIY community for this one. 😅

My camera phone doesn't really do it justice here. I should use my SLR camera!
