When I was trying to find a date for this Baby Powder can, I read that Tetlow did have lead in them but switched to zinc oxide partly because it was cheap and this meant that powders and rouges made using zinc oxide could be purchased by millions of women who were previously not able to afford the more expensive rice powders.
