Long vehicles palava (problem)

Happy weekend to all blurters, it's been a while I posted here due to too much engagement in school, since we have resumed back to school I have being busy and just because examination is around the corner, it's not easy to be a final year student.

Well, today I will be discussing long vehicles palava (problems) in my country. Long vehicles is the same as lorries, trucks, trailers or tankers, some are used to convey bulky goods like cement, cocoa, plywood, iron rod, drinks,etc, and some are used to convey petroleum which are called petroleum tankers.

Long vehicles are responsible for most of the accidents on the highways, this is due to the reckless driving of drivers that are driving these long vehicles. Most of them engaged in alcoholism whenever they want to drive, and as a result of this act they behave as if they are the owner of the road and drive recklessly on the road.

The most annoying part of the long vehicles is the horn (hooter) in it, and the drivers usually make a loud honk from it to disturb other road users which is very bad.

Another problem associated with long vehicles is disturbance on the highway, by causing hold up (go slow) on the highway. There was a particular time i was traveling from Lagos to ondo, a journey that supposed to last for three (3) hours, we spent six (6) hours due to hold up that was caused by a truck conveying drinks.

Just yesterday I heard a news of a woman that had an accident on a motorbike, and she was crushed by a trailer/long vehicle and she died on the spot.😭😭.
