BE PREPARED

A Nigerian billionaire once said he could attain where he was today due to luck, but luck did not just find him seated in a spot. He explained that luck found him through his consistent hard and intelligent work. The whole concept surrounding this is that luck will not happen if you are not doing anything to invite it. Luck, to me, is a subtle way of saying that they could be an extra force beyond attaining a greater height but what you do before it finds you matters.

In the country where I am from, it is straightforward to see people who are supposed to be at work in the early hours of the day taking the frontline of a church program. That's wrong by all standards because even in the bible, it was written that God would bless the work of thy hands. So if you are not doing anything, there is nothing to bless. That's why it is crucial for one to prepare and put in the work with the hope that luck finds them. even if luck does not come around, what you sow, you will reap. it is a win-win for you.

This may sound cliche, but luck does not just happen to anyone. It happens to those who are prepared and have put in the hard work in the first place. take, for example, Elon musk, who happens to be the owner of Tesla. His cars are electrically powered, and he and his team spend hours of work daily to make sure the products from their company are one of the best and meet customers' standards. The company puts in place policies and procedures to ensure smooth transactions between them and clients while eliminating the need for a middleman. Now Elon is the wealthiest man in the world, and the luck he has is that a large percentage of the population loves his car, which fetched him more money.

So it would be best if you were prepared to fully optimize opportunities. Being prepared entails many things in many scenarios, and I will do my best to mention a few in the following paragraphs.

Being prepared education-wise is when you read your books and do some extra curriculum activities in the hope of acing your forthcoming exams. You also attended tutorials and also made sure that you revised and attempted to answer some past questions on the subject matter. where play its part is when during the exam, the question set was that of an exam past question you have treated during the tutorial and alone. That sets you apart and makes the work much more manageable. Luck, in this case, is like a reward for the hard work one has put into studying and the late nights.

Another example of being prepared can be sighted in the crypto space. Everyone wants to hit it big and come out with something tangible from their investment in a crypto project. To achieve this, one must be on the lookout for secret gem projects, familiarise oneself with the latest projects released on the blockchain ecosystem, and learn and relearn. Thorough research must be done before investing, and all this is what makes us for preparation. where luck sets in were when the coin bought suddenly did a x1000, and you have a substantial quantity of that coin. It positions you well to be more prosperous, but it won't have been possible without the complex and intelligent work you have put in beforehand.

The keynote from all these examples is to further bolster the point that luck is not a substitute for hard work rather, both have different functions. It is not enough to hope for luck; put in the work to position yourself for the best opportunities, and luck is when those opportunities come to you.
