WITHOUT PHOTOS (PHOTO'S I REALLY TREASURE)
GREETINGS EVERYONE
I will be writing on;
Topic four: Without photos
Share three photos you cannot live without and explain them: Where they were taken, what they mean to you, and why they are so treasured. The photos must be your own, not stock images.
I have been quite stuck for a while wondering about the pictures I was going to write about. So I had to dive into my phone images to search and boom I was able to come by the needed number of required photos to talk about.
You will all agree with me that Pictures are one aspect of art that give or bring back details story of memories of events that had passed and others. Going through my photos I was hit by waves of memories, some which are new, some which are old, some which are dear to me, and others which are not.
PHOTO 1
This is a photo of my Dad (In blessed Memory) and my mom. This photo was taken at our home, (the sitting room to be precise). The photo is quite an old one, permit me I will say I have forgotten the exact date and month it was taken but the year was definitely (2017).
My dad is simply one of my most Favourite people in the world my mom knows about this, which makes her feel jealous most times but this does not mean my mom isn't one too. Just that there seem to be this fatherly son bond between us and it was quite a strong one.
Looking at this photo simply brings back old memories of how they're used to be happy back then, how my dad will give anything in the world to see my mom was okay and made sure she got what she really wanted.
I can remember vividly before this photo was taken it was quite a struggle for my mom, the reason was that my dad isn't a photogenic type. But since he loved his wife and would give anything for her to be okay he simply relaxed and took the photo with her.
This photo is really close to my heart for many reasons, Every time I look at this photo I see my dad, though it is really hard letting go what can we do it have to happen. I really miss this man, my number one role model, my teacher from day one. Saying goodbye is something I never imagined to happen, living without you around, not hearing from him, not seeing him calling anymore is something that is really hard living with. What more can I say, it is what it is.
This is one of my favorite photos of him, so I treasure it so much, and it is always on my phone, it use to be my phone screen saver and both wallpaper. This picture just brings back memories of both my childhood, the happy family we use to have, the togetherness that was in the family when he was around, the space he filled in my mom's heart most importantly, even though she tried not to show but deep down his absence it well felt and forever be felt.
PHOTO 2
This is another photo in my photo gallery I treasure so much. This photo was taken on the 12-02-2022 It is still a fresh memory to remember. It was taken in a photo studio, with the name CRYSTAL IMAGERY Obudu city, Nigeria.
The photo was taken to celebrate my birthday which was on the 15-02-2022 I had to go take the photo quite early so it can be delivered before the day it was to be used.
This photo is treasured by me for the fact that it is a birthday photo of mine, It simply serves as a remembrance of my birthday (smiles, you might say need not use photo to remember my birthday), this is quite different.
On taking this photo, I almost did not get to use it for the purpose it was taken due to the fact that it was delivered very late. I finally was able to get the photo on the noon of the very day of my birthday.
It almost got my day spoilt but all thanks to God he had that covered and lastly it was to his Glory. The photo is simply a reminder of all that happened that very day it was used and days before my birthday. I treasure it for it is a beautiful piece of work and besides it was used to mark a special day in my life.
PHOTO 3
I am really glad to share this photo whit you all. So This piece of art was completed a day after my birthday, **17-02-2022. I was able to take a picture of it since it hasn't been framed yet.
I must say that is one of my presently most favorite photos. It has simply been a while since I received a gift from someone. The last time I got a Birthday gift was in the year 2017. Which was my last birthday before leaving high school.
So seeing my friend making this for me was simply a sight to behold. The work is quite good and he took his time to the work done. So this is also a memorable photo to me which was done by my friend as a gift for my birthday.
Having something to always look back at and say yes I got this here, for this reason, which is the celebration of my birthday.
In a nutshell, I will say these are simply my favorite photos, which have a lot of memories by me just seeing them I am indeed very grateful to God.
