The name of my city is Lagos state popularly called EKO. It is a state in the western part of Nigeria known for it lifestyle and heavy traffic. Lol here are a few things I love about my state.

As a Nigerian we all know that whatever business or career path you want to pursue. If you are looking to play in the big leagues then Lagos is the place for you. Yes it gets a bit heated most times due to competition because everyone is trying to outsmart and out-do everyone but isn’t that a good thing, because if anything competition makes a person want to be better at what they do.

       DIVERSITY

Lagos is a city where you can find different kind of people from every corner of the world. From Africa, Asia, Europe you name it. They come down to Lagos to do one business or the other. Apart from meeting different people in Lagos you can also find different variety of foods, clothing style and cultures. The Yorubas of the western tribe which is one of the main tribes in Nigeria are the original owners of the land but over the years it now seems like Lagos is a no-man land because of the numerous amount of other tribes and people you can find in Lagos.

         THE MUSIC 

Lagos has produced a lot of world wide global artists like wizkid, davido, Burna boy amongst others. It is place where good music is appreciated like gold. As a music lover or a musician you would find the best of music here with different sounds and rhythms. I tell you it is a whole new world here when it comes to music. Of course Afro-beats is still the leading one but if you ever need to find new music in Nigeria my advice is plug-in to the Lagos vibe.

       THE LIFESTYLE

The most beautiful women, most fashionable men and the most classic people usually reside in Lagos. Most people would say Lagos is a land of show-biz and the truth is they are not wrong. You would find the most amazing set of people in Lagos with great fashion sense. In-fact if you go to some places in Lagos you might think it is fashion week everyday because of how sophisticated some people dress on a regular day.

I can go on and on about all the beautiful things Lagos has to offer and why it is my favorite city to live but I might bore you. So I hope these few points would convince you that Lagos is probably your choice of city if you plan to visit Nigeria or if you are in Nigeria.
