John was among the hundred and twenty who were baptized with the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost. His life of unconquered faith, became established from the day of Pentecost. God started working through Apostle John in different ways. He was among the twelve Apostle who received the baptism of the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost.
Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
4:32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
4:33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
He was with Peter at the gate of the Temple, when a lame man was healed.
Acts 3:10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.
He was also with Peter on the mission to Samaria to impart Holy Spirit on the new converts there.
