Who are you when no one's looking?
Behind the door when it's only you who's speaking.
When you remove the facades and all the pretence,
Who are you when no one's staring?
Who are you if what they see is not true?
Hiding beneath without letting go of a clue.
Some old traumas or some evil intent?
Who are you if what they see is not you?
Is your true self a devil's disguise?
Or does an angel reside hiding its shine?
We all got secrets we don't expose,
Who are you when you're all alone?
We all got wounds covered by a smile,
Old nightmares that still make us whine.
We've fought for so long, we still fight,
Just to finally bath in the light.
From the dark side I speak,
What exactly do you seek?
Do You find peace in your evil deeds?
Or is there something that made you become like this?
We all went through phases,
That forced some changes,
Thrown into hell, which we couldn't harness,
Doors locked and we lost time through ages.
Now, as I reach the end of this poem,
A last question arises to have a conclusion.
Good or evil, may it be, just tell me,
Who are you when no one's staring?
