Music has this quality of healing a person mentally and emotionally. It has sure never failed to heal me and to fill my heart with joy, happiness and immense peace, just as it has always helped me find and recover myself those moments when I was down and lost. This is how important music is to me, and I guess you now see why I decided to write about this.
A piece of music I love, that moves me, and makes me feel deeply.
Having searched through my archive😂, I've come to conclusion that "RECKLESS LOVE by Cory Asbury" is that one piece of music that moves me and makes me feel deeply grateful to God.

You might be wondering why I had to choose this song out of the millions in the world. My answer to this isn't farfetched. I guess we’ve probably never thought of how powerful God's love is, and we've never thought of His love as being reckless. This might be because we tend not to understand what the meaning of the word reckless really means. When we say someone is reckless, we mean the person does things without regard to the consequences or dangers of that action.
It might be strange calling God’s love reckless, however we need to look no further than to that moment when He sent his only son to come and die for our sins. We didn't earn it neither did we deserve it, yet He gave himself away just so we can be saved.
Let's picture all what our saviour Jesus Christ passed through on earth just because of you and me. He could have called ten thousand angels to destroy the world and set him free from the pains he was passing through, but He chose to endure all that just because of His never-ending, overwhelming, reckless and selfless love for us.
What about the part where God keeps drawing us closer every time we go astray? He doesn't wish for any of us to perish, but He wants each one of us to have everlasting life. I believe we all know that we are sinners since we ain't perfect, but despite our sins, he still calls us his children, listens to our prayers and provides for our needs. This can only be possible because of how recklessly he loves us.
There was a point in my life when I was in a very bad spot, a spot where I almost gave up because I thought I had no reason to live. Fortunately for me, I came in contact with the song "reckless love", and just like magic, this song lifted me and made me stronger.
Reckless Love made me realize how much God loves me, and if He has not given up on me, why then should I give up on myself?
We all know that life is full of ups and downs, joys and sorrows, victories and tragedy. The song reckless love assures me that no matter my circumstances, God can climb any mountain and light every shadow coming after me.
CONCLUSION
I've come to realize that my ultimate hope should be in God, and If my hope is in his overwhelming reckless love rather than my circumstances, He will surely never let me down because He is a father that never gives up on His children.
