What have you taught your child about his or her culture? Can your child speak his or her local language? Can he or she make or recognize their local dishes?
Some people in Africa are brain washed into believing that their culture is inferior and often feel lazy promoting it. Your culture might just be the most interesting thing the world wants to hear, so promot it with all you can. And don't forget to teach your children same.
Here are my two little niece and nephew whom i took for a traditional even and i made sure they dressed in the traditional attire of the Tiv people.
The other children who here dressed in other cultural attires were so exceptional and the look was awsome.
Some dressed in Idoma traditional attire why others dressed in Igede traditional attire and so on
Teach your children what they need to know about your culture.
Show your culture around the world with pride; the world might be eager to hear your story.
Speak your local dialect with your children and let them know it.
