Tiffany, a successful woman always keeps her mind buried in her work. Her looks are out of this world and can be viewed as a symbol of perfection. However One could say she doesn’t have a personal life outside of work. Being the CEO of a multi million dollar company, her focus has been dedicated to the running of the company with little to no social life or family. Well who could blame her?? Her childhood wasn’t so rosy. She lost her parents at an early age and was left to fend for herself. Well she was quite brilliant, always on good grades and showed a lot of potential. Despite her challenges she overcame and made it to the top. Her success story is quite applauding.
Growing up she always felt alone until she met her best friends Anthony who loved cared and supported her.
Tiffany and Anthony first met in high school during a science fair competition where they both lost and have been inseparateable since then. Their relationship has always been platonic. Anthony was a responsible young man, down to earth, with really good looks, cute smile and wonderful personality. He came from a respectable family and was successful with chains of business worldwide. He always admired, respected and cared for Tiffany. From time to time they both worked together, requiring the services of both companies.
In as much as Tiffany was always engrossed in her work she would always try to squeeze out little time to spend with Anthony. She valued their friendship so much and it was really sweet.
As time passed on Anthony began to develop feelings but he just couldn’t air them out.
One day out of boredom, Tiffany opted for a walk at the park. While at the park , she got glimpses of lovely couples around and she couldn’t help but stare. At that point she began to yearn for what they had. while on her ride back home she had a rethink of the love and affections she saw between couples and couldn’t help but need to feel such affection. It was at that point it dawned on her that she was actually lonely.
She analysed her life and understood that indeed she had neglected her love life for too long.
Anthony decided to plan a little getaway to Miami for himself and Tiffany which she was excited about. Truth be told he only wanted to spend some time with her.
Upon their arrival, they went shopping, visited the beach and went surfing. While these activities were on they kept on catching glimpses of each other, on several occasions Tiffany would find herself smiling while staring at him. The chemistry and atttaction between them was so obvious but who would make the first move??
At night they both couldn’t sleep, their minds where filled with thoughts of each other. And then it clicked!! Could this be love?? Tiffany on the other hand kept on having doubts, she hoped her newly developed feelings for her best friend wouldn’t jeopardise their relationship.
Their last hangout was a dinner date and they dressed to impress. You could see how they looked at themselves with so much adoration without any words been said. During dinner, there was more of an awkward silence which was later cut off by Anthony, he decided to take the first step to express his feelings. Apparently he began to develop feelings for her a year ago but was scared of rejection.
While saying all this Tiffany grew teary cause indeed she has grown to love the man in front of her. She stood, gave him a hug and whispered in his ear **’I love you as well.’ ** This act was sealed with long, passionate kiss.
Words couldn’t explain the joy that overwhelmed the both of them. Best friends turning to lovers seemed like a fairy tale but it was now a reality.
This was a start of a new beginning, the journey of love, a tale of love.
