Bruno Fernandes set a new record in the Champions League for an English team. Bruno even surpassed David Beckham's record!

Atletico Madrid vs Manchester United will be presented in the first leg of the Champions League last 16, Thursday (24/2) early morning WIB. The game ended 1-1.

Atletico Madrid took the lead through Joao Felix's goal early in the first half. At the end of the second half, Manchester United just equalized through Anthony Elanga's goal.

Anthony Elanga's goal came from an assist by Bruno Fernandes. Bruno sent a through ball which Elanga was able to maximize with a low shot.

With one assist, the Portuguese player made a record. Reporting from Squawka, Bruno Fernandes has made six consecutive assists in the Champions League!

It became a new record for players from the English team in Europe's highest club competition. Previously also held by Manchester United player, David Beckham.

Bruno Fernandes has indeed continued to be a mainstay since joining Manchester United in early 2020. Of the 113 matches he has played in all competitions, he has packed 38 assists and scored 49 goals.

Bruno Fernandes is still under contract until 2025. The 27-year-old seems to continue to be a mainstay in attack and his position is irreplaceable.
