Damn!
Everything has gone thwart;
No longer do I trust this bible;
It should have been revelation first;
So we prepare for genesis’ deeds.
Another dawn, another war;
Occupation regardless, we all soldiers;
Of the world’s evil, who comes out good?
Life is getting harder to fix.
We all in battles we did not start;
Blood spill the streets like ugly-fine art;
They told us men don’t cry, but not why;
Vigor on the skin, deep down, dead dry.
There’s unfairness for all men;
We accept the choiceless token;
Unfortunately, there’s only earth to reside;
Standing yet, we have rejected suicide.
Fathers, young men, husbands;
In this endless war, tactlessly, we all die;
Very few leave words on marbles;
Fewer comprehends these parables.
Beyond storms of brokenness;
Beneath scars of rejection;
Above every excruciating anguish;
Lift your head, dear fellow soldier…
