Virgil van Dijk has disclosed that he is in "talks with appropriate individuals" about his future at Liverpool, as the club captain enters the final stages of his contract.
Van Dijk is one of several prominent Liverpool players whose contracts expire next summer. There is also concern about Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold's fate.
As it is now, the trio will be eligible to talk about pre-contract terms with abroad clubs beginning in January, although Van Dijk has stated that he is in negotiations to prolong his stay at Anfield.
Van Dijk, who signed Liverpool in 2018, will turn 33 in July. He remains an important member of a defence that has five clean sheets in eight league matches this season.
