Amsterdam's mayor has declared a state of emergency after "antisemitic" protesters assaulted Israeli football fans, stating that she is "outraged" over the happenings in her city.
The urgent regulations apply to Amsterdam and its southern suburbs, Amstelveen.
Police will be allowed to conduct more searches, and protests and facial coverings are now prohibited. Buildings that potentially be threatened will be secured.
Previously, footage circulated on social media revealed Maccabi Tel Aviv football supporters pulling down Palestinian flags in central Amsterdam.
