Manchester city boss, Pep Guardiola has stated that Oscar Bobb, could miss up to four months due to injury.
The 21-year-old Bobb who plays as a winger will have surgery after breaking a bone in his leg during a training session on Wednesday, according to Man City manager Pep Guardiola. Manchester City is evaluating their transfer market alternatives in the wake of Bobb's injury.
Bobb's injury has given City more motivation to enter the market, since they were already considering it after selling Julian Alvarez to Atletico Madrid. In the last two weeks of the transfer window, the champions are reportedly considering an attacker and a central midfielder. With Alvarez out of the picture, Erling Haaland will have no natural backup, and Kalvin Phillips joining Ipswich will only make City more reliant on Rodri. Guardiola is unsure of if City will be replacing Alvarez and Bobb, thus no definitive decision has been made over whether they will pursue any players.
