Nottingham forest has received a large fine for its awful tweet following the previous season's loss to Everton.
Forest were defeated 2-0 at Goodison Park in April's possible relegation showdown. However, chiefs were incensed because they believed Forest had been refused three clear penalties.
On "x" formerly known as tweeter , the english club made a post that alleging that the var ref on that day was a luton united fan not minding that the hatters was also battling relegation at that time .
After their very first tweet in April, Forest asked that the VAR audio from the Everton game be provided. The Football Association then charged Forest with misbehavior. So they were subsequently fined a staggering £750,000. Howard Webb, the referee, even admitted that mistakes were committed throughout the match. However, Forest was still subjected to an FA charge. Thankfully, Nuno Espirito Santo's side avoided relegation last season.
