Peter Cormack, a liverpool legend passes away at the age of 78.
The Reds acknowledged the devastating news on Friday morning, while paying respect to the previous Scotland midfielder.
Cormack worked under legendary Liverpool coach Bill Shankly through his four-year tenure at Anfield from 1972 to 1976.
He won two First Division titles, the FA Cup, and the UEFA Cup, & featured 125 games for Liverpool, scoring 21 goals.

He began his career at Hibernian & played seven years there before signing the Merseyside club.
Cormack moved to Nottingham Forest in 1970, and there he netted 15 goals in 74 games.
From 1966 to 1971, he also represented Scotland nine times.
His great spell at Liverpool ended in 1976, shortly after he was transferred to Bristol City, where he helped win the Anglo-Scottish Cup in 1978.
