According to the verified news released by Ipswich Town , their 61 year old legend, Simon Milton, became ill during Sunday's game at Portman Road and was transported to the hospital.
The 61-year-old Milton had a "medical emergency" while sitting in the directors' box during the team's Premier League match against Bournemouth.
He was treated by emergency personnel right away before being sent to a neighboring hospital.
The Tractor Boys, however, have stated that the man is now "in excellent spirits" after the incident.
After moving from Bury Town to Ipswich in 1987, Milton stayed with the team for 11 years.
During his 11 seasons at the club , he made not less 300 appearance for the club.
He earned a club ambassador in 1998 when he retired from sport.
