Chelsea is looking to get Dario Essugo, a midfield star, at a low cost.
The 19-year-old Sporting Lisbon prospect is now playing for Las Palmas on loan in La Liga. Longtime supporters, however, need to move quickly because Leeds is considering a loan-to-buy agreement. This month, SunSport disclosed how Leeds was monitoring the midfield powerhouse.
They want to propose a loan-to-buy deal after making an attempt to sign the 19-year-old in the summer. He was loaned out in the summer by former manager Ruben Amorim, who is currently at Manchester United. This season, he has been at Las Palmas in La Liga.
To date, Essugo has made ten appearances for his loan club. And last month, he grabbed his first goal in a game against Mallorca.
