Mikel Arteta has suffered a big setback as close friend and Arsenal head Edu Gaspar ready to leave the club.
The highly regarded sporting director has assisted in transforming the Gunners from perennial underachievers to title contenders. But Edu's stay with the Emirates shall soon come to conclusion.
Lately , he was in serious discussion with the management of the club about the restructuring and changing off some key positions.
Edu made the choice to leave his position in the backstage, for unknown reasons. He is set to take over as manager of Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis' network of teams, which also includes Greece's Olymipiacos and Portugal's Rio Ave.
