The 22-year-old James can either choose to follow his Dad's footstep and play for the three lions or he can swicth his allegiance to malta and make his mark.
From 1999 to 2010, Carragher amassed 38 caps for the Three Lions.
But now that he was supposedly awarded citizenship in Malta, his son may switch loyalties.
According to news reports in malta , Carragher's Maltese mother and grandfather were the reason he was initially awarded citizenship.
