Jurgen Klopp has put his friendship with Ralf Rangnick, the manager of Manchester United, on hold before of Liverpool's match against the Red Devils.

Rangnick has been credited for influencing a generation of German coaches, with Klopp becoming friends with the temporary Manchester United manager during his time in charge of Mainz.

However, Klopp claims that their friendship has been put on hold while Rangnick is in charge of the Red Devils, whom they will meet in a key encounter on Tuesday.

"The Man United we'll play, they'll go for it," Klopp said in a pre-match press conference on Monday. They aspire to represent their country in the Champions League. It will be a 90-minute marathon. This time, both teams are playing in a game that is really significant to them.

"That's all there is to it." Both squads are engaged in combat. My connection with Ralf Rangnick, the temporary manager of Manchester United, is on hold!"

Klopp also admitted that he has not spoken to interim Man United manager Jose Mourinho since taking over at Old Trafford. "I haven't spoken to him since he's been in England out of respect," the German continued, "but you can see the adjustments he's made there and the parts he's improved."

"I don't think about Ralf while I'm preparing for the United game; it's about preparing for the team."

"It's a big game, a massive game, two of the biggest clubs in the world," Klopp said of the match against Manchester United. We must always learn to live with it. It took some time for some players to figure out how to deal with it. This is an extremely significant game for both clubs this time."

What should we expect, good or bad news?
Let's keep our fingers crossed

Thanks for coming around...
