Jürgen Klopp has openly talked about that when his contract expires at Liverpool in 2024, he will leave the club to take a break from football. That is still the plan - the German manager said at a press conference prior to Liverpool's match against West Ham:
- At the moment, the plan is to reach 2024, and then say "thank you".
When asked what plays into that decision, the German elaborates:
- My energy level. I love what I do, but, as I have said a few times before, there must be other things out there in the world where it is not just about thinking about good football players.

Klopp has done a lot for Liverpool and it's understandable for Liverpool fans to want more of him. He is an iconic manager and a charismatic human being.
