Rangers Football Club pulled out an astonished and a surprising victory at away over Borussia Dortmund to take charge of their Europa League knockout stage playoff.
Rangers was in front with a penalty from James Tavernier in the 38th minutes. In the 41st minutes came the second goal from the Colombia Forward Alfredo Morelis.
4 minutes into the second half came the third goal for Rangers by John Ludstram to give Rangers a three goal advantage. Although, the host side pulled a goal in the 51st minutes from the England Midfielder Jude Bellingham who smashed the net from outside the box to give the home side hope to bonce back in the game.
But unfortunately Rangers wasted no time to respond, scoring their 4th goal in the 54th minutes with an own goal from a Dortmund defender Dan-Axel Zagadou.
The host side salvaged some hopes for the next game in scotland with a super hard shot from outside the box from Raphael Guerrero and with an effort from Matt Hummels trying to score in the stoppage time but it was a wasted effort.
