We could do an experiment and make a new account and try to reblog. I suspect brand new accounts can :-)

I'm sticking my neck out here, but I suspect I know what the reblog issue is due to. I have suspected this for some time but, not being a coder, I'm not absolutely sure how to fix it - although I know where to look!
I don't think we want everyone to make duplicate accounts! I do hope this gets fixed as it is a key method of spreading news through communities that may have minimal overlap.
