I'm sticking my neck out here, but I suspect I know what the reblog issue is due to. I have suspected this for some time but, not being a coder, I'm not absolutely sure how to fix it - although I know where to look!
I don't think we want everyone to make duplicate accounts! I do hope this gets fixed as it is a key method of spreading news through communities that may have minimal overlap.

It seems the old members cannot reblog but new members cannot at the moment. Another interesting thing with new members is they don't have a picture next to their profile.
