"Moana" was an accidental finding for me. The trailer wasn't a hit and i did not aware of its existence until me and my friend decide to watch a movie during Christmas day. The story was surrounded by about a girl who was born on an island named Moana. As the heir of the chief, Moana had inherited love for the seas and voyaging. When her island becomes endangered by a life-killing darkness, Moana was chosen by the ocean to journey across the sea to save both her people and the world.
I like how Disney stories evolve over years and the image of princess had be redefined. Girls are taught to be brave and to follow their heart. Even though Moana is smart she did had a little lack in confidence. She reminds me of Mulan where both girl try to obey their dads yet they had a greater mission to achieved.
Besides the touching story line, there are full of laugh boom in this movie. Moreover the sound tracts are so addictive!! And I never knew The Rock could sing that well !!!Hahahha And here is more one fun fact !
《海洋奇缘》比较算是是一个意外的发现，因为预告片的反响不大，所以在它上映前其实我是完全不知道有这部动画片的存在。我还记得我看的时候是圣诞节当天，和朋友们纯粹为了完成看电影这个动作，在一堆没有听过的电影里挑了这一部。
故事情节是围绕着一个小岛上，航海世家后代自从再岛上落脚后就已经不在航海。而部落的酋长有一个独生女叫莫阿娜，在祖母的鼓励下她一心想去探索临近的岛屿，但她的父亲从来不许。身为岛屿的继承人，为了拯救部落，莫阿娜偷偷逃出小岛并遇毛伊。他是南太平洋岛国神话里的超级英雄，可以变成鸟儿，身上刻着很多可以活过来的纹身，还有一个法宝是魔法鱼钩。接下来莫阿娜就和他一起前往开放的海洋、克服各种凶险，以完成祖先在一千年前未尽的航程。
近几年迪士尼的动画最大的进步就是在于人设方面的改进，有别于一般的娇弱的公主，莫阿娜这个角色却会给人耳目一新的感觉，不但聪明有想法但也有犹豫缺乏自信的一面。一方面努力努力顺从父令，却又按耐不住内心的声音。这个角色不论是个性还是长相上都更加复合实际，打破大家心目中公主的常规。
这部动画片不但有很多让人飙泪的笑点之外，在视觉、听觉还是心灵感受都让人满足，尤其是在歌曲方面，特别让人容易上瘾。另外一个让我惊艳的就是毛伊的配音演员-德韦恩·道格拉斯·约翰逊的歌声，我从来原来这位外形凶猛的演员，竟然还有如此美妙的歌喉。据说毛伊这个角色还是来自德韦恩的亲生爷爷的启发。
