Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy. (1 Timothy 6:17)
Believing for more than enough means to have faith for more than what you need at the moment; for more than what can take care of your needs; and for more than what is needed to make you comfortable. Believing for more than enough is to have faith for more than what is required so as to have enough to invest in kingdom advancement. God wants you to have more than enough.
“So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camel, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand size asses.” (Job 42:12).
Why should you have faith for more than enough?
1 God has more than enough: No need of man can exhaust the abundance of God.
“For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof” (Psalms 50:10-12)
2 God wants to give you more than enough: It is His will to give you more than enough.
“Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.” (Psalms 35:2 7).
3 God’s divine plan for your life is for you to live in the realms of more than enough: You are not to live in lack.
“Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delight eth greatly in his commandments....Wealth and riches shall be in his house...” (Psalms 112:1,3).
4 God has given the believer the anointing to command more than enough wealth:
“But thou shall remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth1 that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” (Deuteronomy 8:18).
Beloved, God expects you to have more than enough so that you can give for kingdom expansion and give comfort to those in need.
“Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the Lord shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.” (Zechariah 1:1 7).
From today, start practicing more than enough giving.
“Give, and it shall be given aim to you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it small he measured to you again” (Luke 6:38).
