Life is designed in such a way that a person's potential is rarely reached unless they are supported in some way. As a result, most men have gone to great lengths to seek assistance from every imaginable source. The Bible is full with examples of people who sought such help and ended up being spiritually and/or physically doomed as a result. Some aids are little more than gimmicks, and extreme caution is required today and every day.

The Ark of the Lord had been out of Israel for more than two decades when the scripture was written. God was battling for Himself, so the Philistines couldn't keep it safe. They were compelled to give it back in exchange for gifts and sacrifices. God is capable of accomplishing whatever it is that pleases Him.
However, everyone requires assistance. So, who is your ally?

When we're in a pinch, certain elects will go to any length to gain recognition. Paul warned the Ephesians by saying, "You no longer think like the Gentiles and live in their folly. They have a dim knowledge and are cut off from God's life because of their ignorance, which stems from the hardness of their hearts. They have given themselves over to indecency for the practice of every sort of impurity with greediness because they are heartless. But you didn't learn about Christ in this way " (Eph.4:17-20, NET).

When Samuel learned that the Israelites had returned to God for help, he prayed to God to be their helper as they resolved to serve Him alone, according to the Bible. The Philistines returned for battle as they were wrapping up the reconciliation, unaware that Israel had re-covenanted with God. The Lord came down on the Philistines with a vengeance, subduing them and reclaiming all the cities they had seized. After that, there was complete peace, and the Philistines did not invade Israel again during Samuel's lifetime because God, via Ebenezer, became their helper once more.

In this life, everyone requires assistance. Make God your ally; you will not be sorry.
