Boxing is my first love and I just can't let it go not matter what. Thanks to my wife' s advice that I should stop playing on the tournament and become a referee and judge instead. Now I still enjoy the game while making money because of it.

Anyway, this post is not about the boxing but about the place where I was able to travel because of it.

Amateur boxings are often held when there's a foundation day or barangay fiesta in barangays in our place and when they do, they invite us to come. A few years ago, Guilang-Guilang, Manolo Fortich held it's 4th adlaw ta Guilang-Guilang so wee came for them.

In line with the municipal support of the LGU into sports, they let barangays that hold the game borrow a boxing ring which is stored in the municipal gym and when the game starts comes, we hitch a ride to the venue back and forth for free.

Boarding an SKW truck, the boxing ring was beneath our feet and I and my boxers enjoys the beautiful sceneries we pass by on our travel.

Guilang-Guilang is one of the farthest barangays in Manolo Fortich, from the center of the town, one needs to travel For over an hour to get there. Unfortunately, there is still no PUVs to accommodate a straight ride. If one n
Use the public transport, he may need to board a bus from Manolo Public Market to Damay where the road to Guilang-Guilang crosses and from there, motorcycle taxis (habal-habal) offers a very expensive ride. How much exactly is not known to me since we only hitched a ride. The place can also be reached via private vehicles or motorcycles

During our travel, am grateful because the road were already Concreteed I like before that it was muddy, slippery and very dangerous even for the big trucks just like the one we onboarded.

Boxers waited on the SKW truck while waiting for others and the documents needed for our travel

Soon we started travelling and descended to the famous Mangima turns. Glad I caught a photo of how curve the road is.

I positioned myself on a safe spot at first but when I noticed that the view outside has changed, I slowly changed position and made myself at the edge of the truck.. it's still safety, of course.

It's my first time seeing this wonderful scene and I got speechless. It's just so wow!

The scene was revealed after the vehicle ascent, the mountain landscapes, trees and greens as well as the sky was just so perfect!

I took a selfie with the boxers after. At first, they were not paying attention to the scenes outside but as aoona s they noticed me taking pictures, they got interested in it.

Perhaps it's the wide open sky and the greens has contributed much to the endless display of prefection
