Hi Blurt Fam!
Safety is our top priority. We often see this, especially in dangerous areas like construction sites or production areas. The purpose of the signage is to remind people to adhere to safety standards and always maintain focus at work, as the probability of accidents increases without proper focus. Do you agree?
I agree more than 100 percent. There have been instances where accidents were beyond our control, but there have also been cases where accidents occurred because individuals failed to prioritize the most essential aspect of their work: focus. Incidents such as falls, cuts, and trips often happen due to a lack of focus.
A few weeks ago, my mind was preoccupied with various things - work and personal life. Since I live alone, I am responsible for household chores and ensuring my home is clean and tidy. I prefer not to buy ready-to-eat food, as it is not only expensive but also raises concerns about food safety when purchased from eateries or food stalls. Thus, I cook for myself most of the time.
Last week, while preparing ingredients for a dish I planned to cook, I accidentally cut my finger. Was it an accident? Certainly. However, I could have avoided it if I had been mentally present while cutting the cabbage. At that time, my thoughts were racing, and I suddenly lost focus, resulting in the cut and subsequent bleeding. If I had focused solely on the task at hand, I wouldn't have cut my finger. This incident serves as a negative consequence of disregarding focus. Have you experienced something similar?
Since I cannot turn back time, I simply reminded myself to focus next time, so I wouldn't experience a similar incident again. Sometimes, we lose focus, especially when we have a lot on our plate, and this increases the likelihood of accidents. Therefore, to prevent them, we should always remain focused.
By the way, the dish I cooked turned out delicious, although I still felt a slight pain in my finger. It was just a minor cut, so there's nothing to worry about. I washed it with water and applied a little alcohol. That's it for today, Blurt Fam. Until next time!
