I went to the mall yesterday to help someone check the price of a luggage bag. She wanted to compare the online store price with the price at the mall. We heard that SM Mall in Cebu was having a store sale, so we decided to go there.
As we were on our way to the department store, we passed by an ice cream store. Since we hadn't tasted their ice cream yet, we decided to give it a try. Actually, we had heard many stories about Bohol Bee Farm, and they said they have delicious ice cream. So without hesitation, we immediately placed our order.
The price is a bit higher compared to other ice cream brands. However, since we wanted to give it a try, we didn't hesitate to grab our wallets and pay for our order. Every scoop costs PHP 80.00 or around $1.48. Although it is a bit pricey, the scoop is big.
They have a wide variety of flavors, and I chose the guyabano flavor, while my friend chose the mango flavor. After a few minutes, the crew served our order to us. We didn't have to wait for long as there were only a few customers when we arrived.
Originally, our plan was to eat ice cream while walking towards the department store, but since we appreciated the store's ambiance, we decided to dine there. The ambiance was so relaxing. I kept telling my friend while we were eating how much I liked their colorful chandelier. It was aesthetically pleasing.
While my eyes were busy looking around, my friend asked me how the taste of my ice cream was. Honestly, I didn't like it that much. It's not because it wasn't delicious, but because I could taste too much cream, which made it difficult for me to truly taste its flavor. My friend agreed that their ice cream was loaded with cream. Since I'm not fond of excessive cream, that's why I didn't enjoy it. Although I didn't like it that much, I finished it because I didn't want to waste my money.
If you were to ask me if I regretted it, my answer would be 'No'. Although I didn't enjoy it, at least I tried it for myself. That's it for today, Blurt Fam. Until then.
