Spending Time With Nature

Hi Blurt Fam!

Life hasn't been going well lately, much like the weather—it's gloomy. But whatever life throws at me, I'm standing still, knowing myself: I'm strong and resilient.

Going through tough situations normally drains a person, reducing our mental and physical strength. However, since I don't want to be engulfed in sadness, I decided to spend some time with nature.

Spending time with nature truly helps me feel better and calm. It's like medicine that improves me after just a few minutes.

Seeing those stunning mountains from afar is a stress reliever. I've thought about how long it would take to reach the peak of the mountains, but it's just a thought because I know I'm not fond of mountain climbing. I'm not into strenuous activities. However, someone told me that it's therapeutic—perhaps I'll try it while I'm still able to climb. After all, as we get older, various illnesses can make us incapable of doing fun activities, right?

As I strolled around, I saw a mansanitas tree that is already bearing fruit. I don't know what you call this in your place. It's like an apple, but very small.

I remember during childhood, my friends and I loved to climb this tree to pick some fruit and immediately consume it. Seeing this tree gives me a sense of nostalgia.

After walking in nature for a few hours, I felt better because I was able to breathe. Being with nature is enough for me—I can now fight back against life. That's it for today, Blurt Fam! Until then.
