The Venice Carnival

The Venice Carnival is one of the most popular carnivals in the world, for two reasons:
1-Because it takes place in Venice, one of the most beautiful cities in the world
2-Because of the masks that parade. It is well known that the masks of Venice are of rare beauty and great value.
Here are some photos I took during the 2003 carnival.

Il carnevale di Venezia è uno dei carnevali più apprezzati del mondo, per due motivi:
1-Perché si svolge a Venezia, una delle città più belle del mondo
2-Per le maschere che sfilano. E’ noto che le maschere di Venezia sono di rara bellezza e di grande pregio.
