Una vez un primo muy querido me dijo a manera de burla: ¡Qué raro se ve un hombre tomando fotos a las flores!

Levanté la mirada y lo observé por unos instantes son una sonrisa para luego enfocarme en el objeto que llamaba mi atención. La había comprado unos días antes porque a mi esposa le encantan las flores y a mí me apasiona ver ese mundo que pasa desapercibido a simple vista.

Once a very dear cousin told me as a joke: How strange a man looks taking photos of flowers!

I looked up and watched him for a few moments with a smile and then focused on the object that caught my attention. He had bought it a few days before because my wife loves flowers and I am passionate about seeing that world that goes unnoticed by the naked eye.

Sí, me gusta tomar fotos a las flores para ver esos detalles que pasan por alto la gran mayoría. La macorfotografía se ha convertido para mí en algo que creo que haré toda la vida. No soy un fotógrafo experto como lo es mi amigo @oscarps, cuyas imágenes tratadas con Photoshop se ven increíblemente espectaculares, pero le estoy siguiendo el rastro para aprender todo lo que pueda de él.

Lo cierto es que, desde que observé muy de cerca la naturaleza, aprovecho para capturar esas imágenes que atrapan toda mi atención porque me muestra un universo que ha sido más real que el nuestro: Ha estado allí antes que nosotros y sin duda lo estará después que nuestro trayecto por este mundo termine.

Yes, I like to take photos of flowers to see the details that the vast majority overlook. Macrophotography has become something that I think I will do all my life. I'm not an expert photographer like my friend @oscarps, whose photoshopped images look amazingly spectacular, but I'm keeping track of him to learn as much as possible from him.

The truth is that, since I have observed nature very closely, I take the opportunity to capture those images that capture all my attention because it shows me a universe that has been more real than ours: It has been there before us and without a doubt, it will be there after. that our journey through this world ends.

No me gusta cortarlas; Prefiero repetir las sabias palabras de Buda que rezan. "Cuando te gusta una flor, solo la arrancas. Pero cuando amas una flor, la cuidas y riegas a diario." y de allí nace mi disposición a plantar y cuidar un gran jardín en el lugar donde trabajo. A mi llegada a Chile, no sabía nada de jardinería, pero cuando hay disposición, nada es inalcanzable.
