Hello everyone. Today I will introduce you to another ethno village in Serbia, called Stanojevic. There are many places like this in my country, but each one is unique in some way.
The ethno village Stanojevic is located near the Boljevac town on the Rtanj mountain. It is a family estate that the owner preserved and turned into a tourist attraction, including all family members in the realization of his idea. When you get there, the first thing you will feel is the warm welcome of the hosts and the incredible peace in the natural environment.
You can also feel the host's great love for tradition and antiquity. All around there are old items that were once used in traditional Serbian houses and courtyards.
There is a vegetable garden and an orchard on the property.
You can see the pheasants in the yard and hang out with them. 😊
The yard is very beautiful and neatly arranged.
And if you want to take a walk outside the yard, you can go on the nearby forest paths.
Within the ethno village there are bungalows, traditional holiday houses.
There is also "kafanica", a place where you can eat something, relax or drink the famous Rtanj tea. The hosts prepare a traditional breakfast, so you will have a very good appetite here.
On hot summer days, you can refresh yourself at the pool.
While your children are playing on the playground.
And now, let's take a look at one of the holiday houses where we were staying. I felt as if I had entered my great-grandmother's home. 😊
Everything was so old. Over the years, the owner kept antique items from being forgotten and used them to decorate the rooms.
When you are inside, you feel as if you are in a museum and that you have returned to some long past years. You even feel strange to use the phone because it is not in accordance with the ambience. 😊
It is very good to sleep here. And it is a special pleasure when you are woken up by the chirping of birds and the smells of the forest and meadows.
Sometimes it's really good to enjoy a different air and sunset. A different environment and a different time.
Thank you very much for reading.
The images and writing are original and mine.
Greetings!
Jelena
