These shots are from my second visit to Tankspace, both of which were organised by my mate. It's not the easiest environment in which to shoot, the photographers plonk themselves in a darkened tent with the tank at one end. You have to up the ISO really quite high so you know you are going to get quite a bit of noise in the shot. On top of this the models are constantly moving so you have to try and focus on the model, through the glass, whilst they are moving. You wouldn't believe how many times I have bubbles perfectly on focus and the model a blur.

I spent a lot of time on this shoot on the rain wall (you can see those shots But I did enjoy getting some shots of the brilliant models in the tank. It was even more of a struggle this time than the first visit.

The models introduced a lot of different fabrics throughout the day, all of which left little strands of material floating around the tank. And because it was pretty much a converyor belt of models (so we could give them all time in the tank and allow all photographers the chance to shoot), the water became very "milky", which again, didn't help with focussing. But then, if you're not challenging yourself as a photographer, you aren't going to grow.
About me:
I can mostly be found shooting models, aviation, motorsports and, when I can, wildlife. But I enjoy most aspects of photography.
