Holly In Red And Black
My favourite photography discipline is fashion. I really enjoy it And although it covers quite a wide range of styles, looks and concepts. It works for me, whichever area I am working in. This is Holly from a shoot in autumn 2022. I had previously worked with Holly a few years back. She was ok, but, if I am honest, I struggled with the shoot. She was the youngest model I had worked with at that point and was very conscious to ensure that the images were age appropriate.
Holly In Black And White
Fast forward a few years and Holly was starting to become a fairly popular model in the local area. So we thought it was time we worked together again. And boy, she blew my mind. She had matured into a very lovely young lady, with a great sense of style. And just shined in front of the camera.
Holly On A Bridge
I had a few ideas of what I was looking for and she came with a few of her own. I really appreciate models who take the time and add their own input to a shoot. There aren’t many things worse than organising a shoot with a model and them rocking up with the bare minimum of outfits, accessories and ideas. It all seems rather one sided and creativity quickly flies out of the window. And my interest in the shoot.
Holly In A White Beret
Thankfully, as I mentioned, Holly came perfectly prepared (and gave me advice on what did and didn’t go – me being just a bloke, I tend to not always think about every aspect of the outfit, costume, hair, accessories). The shoot went well, the images were well received by Holly and in general. You can’t ask for more from a shoot can you? Apart from another shoot.
