I'm a bit of a so and so when it comes to editing. After a shoot I will get a few shots out and then sort of forget about the rest for a while (unless, of course, they're for a client).I like to revisit shoots weeks, months, or in this case, years later, when looking at the images with a fresh eye I often gives a slightly different perspective. Some images I didn't previously like I find more interesting (and vice versa) or I see a different way of editing. Or realise I have learnt a new trick in Photoshop or Lightroom that could be useful in the editing process.

These shots are from over four years ago, in my old studio. I had put out a shout out on social media saying I would like to photograph a classic style American motorcycle. A photographer friend, who spends a lot of time at bike rallies and festivals got his mate to bring in his Indian. Louise, who had both modelled and body painted quite often at the studio volunteered her and her friend to come, body painted, to add something to the shoot.

Pretty girls on motorbikes is a bit of an overused trope in photography circles. Some can come across as a bit naff, especially when they seem to be taken in a living room. I wanted something a little different. And Louise never disappoints with her ideas and her body paints always seem to match her imagination. I was blown away when they turned up at the studio as lady Ghost Riders. The paint job (as you can see) was superb and we had the most enjoyable shoot. Although I didn't get that many images of just the Indian by itself; the ladies added a lot more interest,

Today, in my Facebook memories, one of these images popped up. So I thought I would check out the rest of the images and see if there were any that I could edit or re-edit. So after a space of over four years here we are; three newly edited shots plus the one that popped up on Facebook. Hope there are some you like.

About me:

I can mostly be found shooting models, aviation, motorsports and, when I can, wildlife. But I enjoy most aspects of photography.
