جدون ادیب عاصم ایک پریشان حال آدمی تھا۔اس کے چھ بچے تھے اور وہ کرائے کے مکان میں رہتا تھا۔وہ کسی نہ کسی طرح کرائے کا مکان حاصل تو کر لیتا،مگر کچھ ہی عرصے میں مالک مکان بچوں کی تعداد سے تنگ آ جاتا اور کسی نہ کسی بہانے سے عاصم کو مکان خالی کرانے کا نوٹس دے دیتا۔ اس طرح عاصم ہر وقت اس کوشش میں مصروف رہتا کہ کسی طرح مالک مکان کو راضی رکھے اور ساتھ ہی نیا مکان بھی ڈھونڈ رہا ہوتا۔ ان دنوں بھی وہ اسی پریشانی کا شکار تھا۔
Jidoon Adib Asim was a troubled man. He had six children and lived in a rented house. He would somehow manage to get a rented house, but in no time the landlord would get fed up with the number of children. And on some pretext, he would give notice to Asim to vacate the house. In this way, Asim was always busy trying to please the landlord and at the same time looking for a new house. Even in those days he was suffering from the same problem.

مالک مکان اس کی پریشانی کو نہ سمجھ رہا تھا اور نہ اس کے ساتھ کوئی تعاون کرنے کو تیار تھا۔ اس نے آخری مہلت دے رکھی تھی اور ہر دوسرے دن پوچھتا رہتا کہ کوئی مکان ملا؟عاصم اس سے تنگ آ چکا تھا۔وہ ایک پراپرٹی کمپنی کے کم پڑھے لکھے مالک کا ملازم تھا۔ مالک کو جو کہنا ہوتا،وہ عاصم سے زبانی کہہ دیتا۔عاصم اس کے زبانی نکات کو کمپیوٹر ٹائپ کرکے منیجر کے حوالے کر دیتا۔ اس طرح اس کی نوکری چل رہی تھی اور تنخواہ بھی مناسب تھی،مگر اپنا مکان نہ ہونے کے باعث وہ مالی مشکلات میں گھِرا رہتا۔ عاصم اپنی پریشان سوچوں میں گم تھا کہ چپراسی نے آ کر بتایا کہ اسے بڑے صاحب نے بلایا ہے۔عاصم کاغذ قلم لے کر اس کی خدمت میں حاضر ہو گیا۔ صاحب کم پڑھے لکھے ہونے کے باوجود زبردست کاروباری صلاحیتیں رکھتے تھے۔شہر میں ان کی کئی عمارتیں قائم کی تھیں اور اس کے سینکڑوں کرائے دار تھے۔عاصم جب اس کے پاس پہنچا تو وہ فون پر کسی سے بات چیت میں مصروف تھے۔عاصم اس کی بات ختم ہونے کا انتظار کر رہا تھا۔ آخر بات ختم ہوئی عاصم کو دیکھ کر کہا:”ایک اشتہار لکھو،ہماری نئی بلڈنگ تیار ہے،اس کے لئے اچھے کرائے دار چاہییں!“ عاصم کا دل زور سے دھڑکا۔اس نے کبھی سوچا ہی نہیں کہ وہ اپنی کمپنی کا کوئی مکان کرائے پر حاصل کر لے۔ کمپنی میں اس کی اہمیت بھی تھی،مگر دوسرے ہی لمحے اس کی اُمیدوں پر پانی پھر گیا۔ صاحب بولے:”شرائط وہی پرانی لکھ دینا،یعنی ایک سال کا ایڈوانس اور کم بچوں والا خاندان۔“ عاصم نے ضروری باتیں نوٹ کیں۔جب وہ اشتہار کا مضمون ٹائپ کر رہا تھا تو اسے ایک خیال سوجھا۔ اس مرتبہ ہمت کرکے اس نے اشتہار میں ایک تبدیلی کر دی۔حسبِ سابق منیجر نے فائل کو سرسری انداز میں دیکھا اور متعلقہ شعبے میں بھیج دیا۔
The landlord was not understanding her problem and was not willing to cooperate with her. He had given last minute and kept asking every other day if any house was found? Asim was tired of it. He was an employee of a less educated owner of a property company. Whatever the owner had to say, he would tell Asim verbally. Asim would type his verbal points and hand them over to the manager. In this way, his job was going on and his salary was also adequate, but he was surrounded by financial difficulties due to not having his own house. Asim was lost in his troubled thoughts when the peon came and told him that he was called by the elder. Asim came to his service with a pen and paper. Sahib, despite being less educated, had great business skills. He had established many buildings in the city and had hundreds of tenants. When Asim reached him, he was busy talking to someone on the phone. Was waiting for him to finish talking. Finally, seeing Asim, he said: "Write an advertisement, our new building is ready, we need good tenants for it!" Asim's heart beat loudly. Get it for rent. He was also important in the company, but in the second moment his hopes were dashed. Sahib said: "Write down the same old conditions, ie one year advance and a family with fewer children." Asim noted the essentials. While he was typing the article of the advertisement, an idea occurred to him. Taking courage this time, he made a change in the advertisement. According to the ex-manager, the file was looked at in a cursory manner and sent to the concerned department.
کرائے کے مکانوں کی بکنگ شروع ہوئی تو عاصم پوری تیاری کے ساتھ پہنچا اور بھرپور کاغذی کارروائی کرکے اپنی پسند کا فلیٹ کرائے پر حاصل کر لیا۔ بکنگ کھلتے ہی لوگوں کی بڑی تعداد جمع ہو گئی۔تھوڑی دیر بعد ٹیلی ویژن کے کچھ نمائندے بھی پہنچ گئے۔وہ سیٹھ صاحب سے ملنا چاہتے تھے،لیکن اتفاق سے وہ ملک سے باہر تھے۔تین دن بعد جب وہ دفتر پہنچے تو ان کی حیرت کا کافی سامان موجود تھا۔ ایک چینل کے نمائندے نے اثر رسوخ استعمال کرکے سیٹھ صاحب سے انٹرویو کے لئے وقت لے لیا تھا۔کئی تنظیموں نے ان کے اعزاز میں پروگرام رکھے تھے۔شہر کی ایک بڑی اور نمایاں سماجی تنظیم نے انھیں ایک ایوارڈ کے لئے نامزد کیا تھا۔ کمپنی کے تمام لوگ حیران تھے کہ سیٹھ صاحب راتوں رات شہر کی ایک معروف شخصیت بن گئے تھے۔ ان سے بہت سارے لوگ ملنا چاہتے تھے،مگر انھوں نے سب سے پہلے عاصم کو بلایا۔ عاصم کو صاحب کا بلاوا ملا تو وہ سمجھ گیا کہ اس کی ملازمت کے ختم ہونے کا وقت آ گیا ہے،مگر اسے یہ تسلی تھی کہ اسے رہنے کے لئے ایک سال کے لئے مکان مل چکا ہے۔ جسے ایک سال سے پہلے خالی کرانا آسان نہیں ہو گا۔عاصم مرے مرے قدموں سے صاحب کے کمرے میں پہنچا تو وہ بے چینی سے ٹہل رہے تھے۔عاصم خاموشی سے کھڑا ہو گیا۔انھوں نے عاصم کی طرف غور سے دیکھا اور کہا:”مجھے وہ سب بتاؤ،جو میں نہیں جانتا۔ “ عاصم نے ایک گہری سانس لی اور بولا:”سر!جب لوگوں کو پتا چلا کہ آپ نے زیادہ بچوں والے خاندان کو فلیٹ کرائے پر دینے کا اشتہار دیا ہے تو لوگوں نے آپ کے جذبہ ہمدردی سے متاثر ہو کر آپ کو ایک بڑے سماجی رہنما کے طور پر تسلیم کر لیا ہے۔ اب آپ ایک مشہور سماجی شخصیت بن چکے ہیں۔تھوڑی دیر میں ایک ٹیلی ویژن کے لئے آپ کا انٹرویو ہے۔“

Which will not be easy to vacate before a year. Asim reached his room with dead feet, he was walking anxiously. Asim stood quietly. He looked at Asim carefully and said: Tell me everything I don't know. Asim took a deep breath and said: "Sir! When people came to know that you have advertised a flat for rent to a family with many children, people were moved by your compassion and made you a big socialite." Recognized as a leader. Now you have become a famous socialite. You have a television interview shortly."
سیٹھ صاحب نے دونوں ہاتھ تشکر کے انداز میں اوپر اُٹھائے اور بولے:”میری بچپن سے خواہش تھی کہ اخبار میں میرا انٹرویو چھپے۔ میں نے اس خواہش کو اپنے اندر چھپا کر رکھا،اب اللہ تعالیٰ نے میری خواہش پوری کر دی ہے۔میں اس کا شکر ادا کرتا ہوں۔آئندہ میری جتنی بلڈنگیں بنیں گی،سب بڑے خاندان والوں کو دیں گے۔“ عاصم حیران نظروں سے اپنے صاحب کو دیکھتا رہا،پھر سر جھکا کر بولا:”میری ایک غلطی نے آپ کو ہیرو بنا دیا اور آپ نے اسے نیکی میں بدل دیا۔ “ ”تم نے جو غلطی کی ہے،جی چاہتا ہے،تمہارے ہاتھ چوم لوں۔“ بیگ صاحب نے جیسے ہی کہا،عاصم نے اپنے ہاتھ سمیٹ لیے۔سیٹھ صاحب عاصم کی طرف غور سے دیکھنے لگے،پھر نرم لہجے میں بولے:”تم نے ایسا کیوں کیا؟“ عاصم نے کچھ کہنا چاہا،مگر الفاظ گلے میں گھٹ گئے۔ بے بسی کے احساس سے اس کی آنکھوں میں آنسو آ گئے اور آخر رُندھے ہوئے لہجے میں بولا:”سر!میں کرائے کے مکان ڈھونڈ ڈھونڈ کر اور کرائے بھر بھر کے تھک چکا ہوں۔میں نے یہ غلطی جان بوجھ کر کی ہے۔آپ کے اعتماد کو دھوکا دیا ہے۔“ سیٹھ صاحب نے اس کے کاندھے پر ہاتھ رکھا اور بولے:”گھبراؤ مت،جو ہوا،سو ہوا،اب یہ راز ہم دونوں کے درمیان رہے گا اور اس کی ایک قیمت ہو گی۔ “ ”قیمت․․․․․کیسی قیمت!“عاصم نے گڑبڑا کر پوچھا۔ ”تم نے جو فلیٹ کرائے پر حاصل کیا ہے،وہ آج سے تمہارا ہوا۔یہ تمہارا انعام ہے اور راز کی قیمت بھی․․․“ بیگ صاحب کچھ اور بھی کہہ رہے تھے،مگر عاصم نہ سن سکا۔اسے ہر چیز ایک دائرے میں گھومتی محسوس ہوئی اور پھر وہ لہرا کر دھڑام سے گر پڑا۔

I kept this wish hidden inside me, now Allah Almighty has fulfilled my wish. I am thankful for him. I will give all the buildings that will be built in the future to my big family members. As soon as Beg Sahib said, Asim wrapped his hands. :"Why did you do that?**" Asim wanted to say something, but the words got stuck in his throat. With a feeling of helplessness, tears came to his eyes and finally he said in a choked tone: "Sir! I am tired of looking for a house for rent and paying full rent. I made this mistake on purpose. You Seth Sahib put his hand on his shoulder and said: "Don't panic, what happened, happened, now this secret will remain between us and there will be a price for it." "Price...what price!" Asim asked confused. "The flat that you have got on rent has become yours from today. This is your reward and the price of the secret too..." Baig Sahib was saying something else, but Asim could not hear. Everything is a circle to him. I felt myself spinning and then he waved and fell down.

بلکہ نفسیاتی خواہشات کی تسکین اور ہوس ہے
When there is harmony in the heart, stubbornness in the nature
جب دل میں میل طبیعت میں ضد
And let the competition come in words
اور لفظوں میں مقابلہ آجائے
So all three wins
تو یہ تینوں جیت جاتے ہیں
Just lose relationships and relationships
بس تعلقات اور رشتے ہار جاتے ہیں
It's a strange world, my friend, for which be sincere
عجیب دنیا ہے یار جس کے لیے مخلص رہو
That hypocrite comes out
وہی منافق نکل آتا ہے
In Allah's system, there is only one law of increasing sustenance
اللہ کے نظام میں رزق بڑھنے کا ایک ہی قانون ہے
The more you divide, the more it will increase
جتنا تقسیم کرو گے اتنا بڑھتا چلا جائے گا.
So glorify your Lord with praise
تو اپنے پروردگار کی تعریف کے ساتھ تسبیح کرو
And ask Him for forgiveness, indeed He is Oft-Forgiving
اور اس سے مغفرت مانگو بے شک وہ معاف کرنے والا ہے
Treat people as human beings
انسانوں کو انسان سمجھ کر ان کے ساتھ معاملات کریں
If you hope for them like angels, you will be disappointed
ان سے فرشتوں جیسی امیدیں وابستہ کرلیں گے تو مایوس ہونا پڑے گا
