Today I discovered something unique, about the brown beetle or honey predator. They suck honey on flower petals in an indecent state but I often find them in different places.
When I was looking for firewood in the fields, I came across a species of black beetle with gray spots on its shell. They are a tame species, these beetles casually enjoy the liquid honey that is on the flower petals.
Don't think negatively, these beetles often mate in a relaxed state, these animals I often find in small forests almost all these insects mate openly.
This type of insect is usually short-lived, sucks the sap or honey on the flowers and emits sticky honey. In plants, sap-sucking species have long been a source of protein for them. Many other animals that search for flower petals, such as bees, flies, butterflies, moths, and ants, also use honey on their petals and stems. It is an invaluable winter resource for invertebrates animals.
