Can you leave a light on Silvertop?😲
What time is it.....8:00 AM and time to start the day!
Then the wind started....
When you live in the forest in the Northwest this is a warning, to get get up and get a shower quickly!😲
Silvertop has a very powerful solar array, but my deep water well runs on 220 volts. This is the only thing that doesn’t run on solar. We always have “something “ on grid electric so we can keep an eye on power outages...... and then it happened, just before I turned on the water!😳
The power is out Liz.....🤨
Down in the large town of Bellingham some power was out too, that’s not good!
Being off grid we are always prepared. We have a portable propane shower, and we always keep about 40 gallons of sealed Chlorinated water on hand, for these Winter storms!😀
So today was camping Lol!🤣
The Mrs asked “Did you even think about building a boat...☺️”
This is early for High wind storms. With Corona lockdown’s starting today we made a run to pick up some more propane in town for this portable hot shower.
I snapped the third photo when this 18 wheeler pulled out in front of us, and almost totaled our car!
I never thought about snapping a photo before, I am sure the truck driver saw me......Hmmm.....🙂
Home finally, the solar batteries were still at 100% full... nice!😎
The sound of Generators were echoing through the neighborhood.
Liz was running the Expresso machine, and the house is toasty warm....Nice!😊
Till tomorrow Silvertop is hoping for a dry day.....
