I took these two pictures of this hawk close to the waterfront today. I guess he must have seen some prey around, but he or she was being continuously harassed by a smaller black bird who kept flying at it. The hawk eventually flew off with nothing to show for his wait. I think this is the first time I have ever seen a hawk perched, I had only seen them flying,
