A placid sea, and fishermen in their canoes trying to make their daily income, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Waters around here, like all over the world have been heavily over fished and with the population explosion living off the sea is not what it used to be.
I remember a couple of decades back I would see a Mero (a very big mouthed fish, I don't know its name in English) fish up to 800 pounds being harpooned under the banana wharf and needing a tackle to bring it up. Nowadays catching a two pound fish is an exciting experience.
Me, I am not made for fishing, it bores the hell out of me, plus I have no luck at it. additionally I don't like the smell, so I just watch for a while, get bored and leave.
