Hey there, Blurt friends. Time is really scarce and just peeking in here to say hello and thought I'd share something I found at mom's yard when I visited her at the farmland.
Ever seen an atsuete tree or its fruit? In English, they call this "Annato". SO this tree has been up since I was a little younger and I was surprised when I saw a bunch of fruits showing off.
Here in our province, we use Atsuete seed as a spice to our dishes and also served as a coloring. We sometimes add it to our adobo (pork/chicken in soy sauce), pork ribs stew, sometimes we add to our frog dish with coconut milk haha. Yup, that's exotic and tastes really good.
