Toxic chemicals stolen from crashed vehicle in Kenya

In an attempt to locate containers of a very dangerous chemical that were taken from an overturned truck close to Nairobi, the country's capital, Kenyan officials have made a request for assistance.

The health officials of Kenyan have given serious warnings to Kenyans about how dangerous the chemical sodium cyanide can be if inhaled or swallowed, this also poses a serious threat to the environment.
In Kenya, it is not unusual for trucks to be looted after a collision; when the lorry toppled late on Saturday, many individuals who hurried to the scene grabbed many containers.
Situated on the main Nairobi-Nakuru route, the authorities asked people to stay away from the site, while the US embassy encouraged its citizens to take a different route. About 35 kilometers (22 miles) from Nairobi, there was an accident that resulted in tarmac leakage.
The reason for the cause of the accident is yet to be known.

The external public was asked by the national environmental agency to notify the closest police station right away if they see the containers.
