One of the president's supporters' motorcycles was destroyed during the clash between pro- and anti-government protestors in Kenya's capital on Tuesday. The group supporting the government rode their motorcycles through Nairobi's streets on Tuesday morning in anticipation of an anti-government march.
In other places, demonstrators had stopped a main route that goes to the airport, so police threw tear gas canisters at them.

The Kenya National Commission for Human Rights reports that since June 18, a minimum of 50 people have died and 413 more have been hurt in the protests. Due to a lack of clear leadership to work with police to maintain safety and security, authorities last week prohibited protests in Nairobi. A court judgment lifted the police prohibition on protests. Kenya's constitution protects the right to peaceful protest, and police are required to provide protection by giving prior notice.
the police have been accused by the Civil society organizations and activists for using violence on the protesters.
