In a statement released by the government of ogun state via
the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, has dismissed a teacher accused of beating and punishing Master Monday Arijo, an SS2 pupil at Obada Grammar School in Obada, Idi-emi, which reportedly led to his death.
The event, which occurred on Friday, also resulted in the teacher's immediate arrest, as the Principal of the school, Mrs. Tamrat Onaolapo, was swiftly questioned for allowing physical force to be used on the student in violation of the state's established laws and regulations.
The principal was given 24 hours to justify what she did and why she should not face punishment for going against the orders of established authority.
After the incident , the ministry of health had to issue a letter of condolence to the grieved family, sympathizing with them to bear the loss of their son and making promise that justice will be served.
Oh that's so extreme punishment.
