Following his conviction in a well-known blackmail case, a Paris court convicted Paul Pogba's brother to three years in imprisonment with a further two years suspended on Thursday.
Instead of being imprisoned, Mathias Pogba will be allowed to complete his one-year sentence wearing an electronic bracelet.
Pogba's brother was also fined 20,000 euros by the court for his involvement in the 2022 extortion attempt against Pogba, which involved pressuring the player, his family, and the members of his company to pay 13 million euros ($13.5 million).
